Show Essentials and Information
Every student must have the following NAMED items: Make-up basics: foundation, blush, brown eyebrow pencil, mascara, and red lipstick (no colourstay as it stains costumes) Hair items: Hair brush, comb, hair bands, pins, grips, gel, hairspray, bun/hair nets All dance shoes necessary for items All costume and hair requirements will be found on coloured sheet of paper (to be handed out the week after dress rehearsal) No underwear should be able to be seen with your costume. It is preferred that dancers wear either an undertard or dance knickers with their costumes. This is a MUST if the costume is a leotard, dress or tutu Lots of water and nutritious fuel Something to entertain your child while they wait
Please take home your hair and make-up items so you can turn up with them done for your next rehearsal. Senior Room Plastic Containers
All dancers in the Senior Room (Grade 5+) will require a 30-40L Plastic Box, this will be what we use in the dressing room to keep personal belongings in. It means that things can be easily located and we are not tripping over bags. Nut-Free Zone We have a few students and teachers with severe nut allergies. The theatre and rehearsal venues are strictly a nut-free zone. Please respect this to ensure the safety of all of our students, parents, and crew. Signing In and Out of the Theatre
For safety and security reason we require all mother helps, dancers and crew to sign in and out.
On the first rehearsals for "Enchanted Garden Gala", there will be some older students helping our younger dancers find their dressing room.
On collection, each Mother Help will bring their group to the sign in/out desk and will call each student's name for pick-up. Please be there promptly to collect and ensure you have signed your child out. Parking At Clarence St Theatre
Clarence Street Theatre does not have any parking for its patrons. Any parking around the theatre belongs to Pak'N'Save, and unfortunately they are issuing tickets to those that outstay the allocated time. To avoid any tickets, we recommend parking on Clarence Street, in the Knox street carpark, or the other roads surrounding. Show Charge
As you may have noticed the invoice for Term 4 our dancers in the show, have been charged an extra week. This is our pro-rata show charge, to help cover costs of hiring the theatre, and rehearsal spaces, extra staffing costs, lighting, music etc etc.
